Wayne Rath, founder of Turfgrass Solutions is the longtime Superintendent of Magna Golf Club in Aurora ON, host of the 2019 Canadian Pacific Women’s Canadian Open. Wayne is a Certified Superintendent with the GCSAA for 25 years, and a member of the CGSA and OGSA for the past 36 years. With over 35 years of experience, Wayne has also hosted various Canadian PGA, Senior PGA and Amateur events. He is passionate about growing Turfgrass, and is a believer that we need to do things better and will only achieve these goals by embracing new ideas.

Ian McQueen, Co-founder of Turfgrass Solutions. Ian graduated from Penn State
University Turf Management Program in 1999 after completing a successful internship at Caves Valley Golf Club. After moving back to Toronto, Ontario he began his career as Assistant Superintendent at Magna Golf Club and now as Superintendent at St. George’s Golf and Country Club. Has over 25 years experience in turf management with 15 years as Golf Course Superintendent. Ian has grown-in over 60 holes of golf and is a strong believer in mining the soils nutrients to promote plant health. |
